Geschmiedete Kurbeln sind nicht nur haltbarer, auch laufen die Kettenblätter geradliniger und biete so ein besseres Schaltverhalten.<br /> <br /> Früher waren &#039;&#039;verpresste Kurbeln&#039;&#039; weit verbreitet, heutzutage findet man sie fast nur noch an sehr preiswerten Fahrrädern.
